****One Person Arrested At Police Brutality Protest.
(Police Say Protestors Were Throwing Objects At Officers.)
DENVER -- A protest against police brutality got out of hand Saturday night and at least one person had to be arrested, Denver police said.
Police said several people who took part in the downtown protest started throwing objects at officers gathered in the area and some were also apparently tagging buses, Denver police Detective John White said.
Officers responded to the area at 15th and Champa around 7:30 p.m., after they received reports that the protest had become disruptive and people were pushing over trash cans into the street.
No injuries have been reported.
Organizers said that the protest and march, which started at the Denver Skate park around 6:15 p.m., was the latest in a series of four demonstrations since July 2010 against police brutality.
