****3 Dispensaries Sue Loveland To Stop Ban!
(Voters Banned Dispensaries Effective March 1st.)
FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Three medical marijuana businesses filed a lawsuit late Monday to stop the city of Loveland from enforcing its new ban on medical marijuana dispensaries.
Last November, voters approved a ban on dispensaries effective March 1. State law allows city councils and/or voters to ban dispensaries.
The lawsuit argues Loveland's ban on dispensaries, including ones that were open before city voters banned them, is unconstitutional and will deprive patients of local sources of medical marijuana.
The lawsuit was filed in Larimer County District Court on behalf of Rocky Mountain Kind, Magic's Emporium, Colorado Canna Care and several unnamed patients.

****Seattle farmers market features medical marijuana!
Seattle (CNN) -- The crops for sale carry labels like "dark vader," "uk cheese" and "white russian."
But the overwhelming smell of cannabis gives away the fact that there is really only one item for sale here: medical marijuana.
There was little publicity for Seattle's first medical marijuana farmers market held on Sunday. No posters or signs were hung outside the market's venue, a small club where "erotic poetry" readings are held.
Word of mouth alone though packed the hall as hundreds of people lined up to go in. They gained entrance with a recommendation from a health care provider stating that they need marijuana to treat a medical condition.
