Emmy Rossum is clearly taking her upcoming topless scene in the U.S. remake of Shameless seriously - the Poseidon star is sticking to low-fat treats.
Emmy skipped fattening ice cream and bought herself some healthy frozen yoghurt as she walked in Beverly Hills today.
With her adorable Yorkshire Terrier pulling on his lead, she popped into the shop and out of the sun.
Wearing high heels and fashionable smart shorts, it looked as if her preparations had been working.
The 25-year-old has been gearing up for her new role, hitting the gym hard in preparation for the nude scene which will be filmed at the end of the summer.
And Emmy is only too aware that with high definition TV, her every little flaw will be emphasised on screen.
'It is my first time being naked on screen so it is definitely a little stressful but I think you just gotta rock whatever God gave you and be proud of it,' she told RadarOnline.
'Naked in HD is a little more stressful.'
Emmy admits her sweet tooth could be the one thing to sabotage her healthy eating and fitness regimen.
'I can't cut out sweets completely, so I just try and do it once a week and hope for the best - hope for good lighting.'
The U.S. version of Shameless has been moved from its original Manchester location to Chicago.
Emmy will be playing the 18-year-old daughter of William H Macy, who takes on the U.S. version of alcoholic patriarch Frank Gallagher.
She is currently dating Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz after her divoce from from music executive Justin Siegel was finalised last year.
