13 Year-old,Amos Yee,won the First Film Fest with his work Jan.

Besides being crowned the grand winner, Amos also snagged the Best Actor Award.

All-too-familiar faces at the Gala Premiere...The cast appeared in 4 batches due to the 4-story structure in the film. This group appeared in the Wing Choon Yuen restaurant segment. Wing Choon Yuen is the former name for the current Spring Court restaurant at Chinatown.

Nostalgic Lok Lok(Kebab) on the bench,That is how it is placed on in the past...A wooden pushcart with a metal plate to place the food.However,this version does not have a special sauce to dip in. We tried and it was cold, so we wondered if they were meant for display actually..... No stomach ache so far.......
(Believe it or not,it used to cost 5 cents for a stick of Lok Lok!)

A rather 'invisible' token from Brian's film, 'Invisible Children'

In conjunction of Reflections 2010-Republic Polytechnic Community Arts Festival,Brian was being invited to share with us about his experience in filmmaking and also showcased his past works.

The highlight of the sharing is Brian shares about his brush with 'Singapore's biggest national air carrier'...where he shares that during his character study for his feature film "Invisible Children", the clip actually somehow landed into the eyes of the corporate comms of this company and there,the drama started.

They threatened to sue Brian if he insist on shooting the film...and Brian stepped back by changing his script and clothings?

Well...if companies start suing filmmakers, we would have been vanished in a flash... where got money to pay!?

Calling all filmmakers: Deadline for submissions is Friday 19 November 2010

The Singapore Short Film Awards is back! Letting you re-cap and recall all that’s happened in Singapore short film landscape in 2010! A chance to see films that you may not have seen before and watch the films that you loved again! There will be screenings, awards, winners and prizes!
