THE WESTERN FRONT of the Rocky Mountains has a bunch of cities that don't have a clue!
Too many little podunk towns (my little town included) are voting to BAN MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES!
What do they hope to accomplish?
In my little town, 2 dispensaries were banned, thus the town loses tax revenues and has two more vacant stores on main street!
These little towns are missing the point: MY medical marijuana prescription is issued by the State of Colorado as is my 'care giver's' license to grow and sell to me....so banning dispensaries does not effect me at all!
Dumbass little podunk cities!

****Grand Junction Expects High Turnout For Medical Marijuana Election.
(Voters Decide Whether To Ban Medical Marijuana Dispensaries.)
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- Grand Junction is on pace to set a record for turnout for a municipal election as voters decide whether to ban medical marijuana dispensaries in the city.
Voters also are choosing among five candidates for an at-large City Council seat, deciding on two uncontested Council seats and casting ballots on whether to enter into franchise agreements with two utility companies.
The election is April 5, but people already have been returning mail ballots.
As of Friday, the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's Office had accepted 6,797 mail ballots from the city's 23,928 active voters. That's a turnout rate of about 28 percent.
The Daily Sentinel reported that based on the 2009 election, the city is on pace to exceed the 41 percent turnout seen in 2003.

All you will accomplish is a closed retail store in your town--losing all tax revenues, etc.
