****Denver Dispensaries Fundraiser Called 'Joints For Japan'.
(Sales From Pre-Rolled Medicine Going To Red Cross.)

DENVER -- Two Denver marijuana dispensaries are holding a fundraiser for the disaster in the Pacific. They're calling it "Joints for Japan."

Dispensary owner Shaun Gindi said when the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, he knew he wanted to help.

All of the money from sales of hand-rolled joints will go to the Red Cross, Gindi said.

"What we're going to do is take all the sales from all the pre-rolled medicine that we sell, 100 percent of it, for this weekend and potentially for the next few weeks until I feel comfortable with what we're giving," said Gindi. "I want to give as much as we can."

The hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes cost $5 each.

Gindi said he sells thousands each month.
